In a world saturated with tablets, cell phones, and other tech gadgets, many young people are becoming less familiar with the joys of reading from traditional books.
According to research from the National Literacy Trust, some children’s first experience with reading happens on a digital device. Unfortunately, studies also show that kids who read on iPads or Kindles often fall behind in the classroom.
Fortunately, many parents are taking action to change this narrative by prioritizing reading from physical books to improve their children’s literacy skills.
In support of the movement, we’re excited to share a list of books designed to ignite a love for reading in our youth. We hope these stories spark your child’s curiosity, confidence, and creativity!
