The Brand Story
Donye Price has always been about her health and well-being, but her passion for wellness took a delightful turn when she discovered the many healing benefits of tea.
For three months, she faithfully consumed green tea and witnessed its profound impact on her fitness journey. “This sparked my curiosity, leading me to research the incredible benefits of tea and its ability to facilitate healing from the inside-out,” she tells BrownStyle Magazine. “A realization washed over me— I could help other people on their inner healing journeys, too.”
Using her entrepreneurial know-how, Price launched My SereniTeas. The wellness brand quickly blossomed beyond just tea— it also features a soothing tearoom and a wide-range of expressive mugs that capture moods and thoughts of tea-enthusiasts.

Donye Price is the first Black female firefighter in Chester, PA. She is also the author of “Girls Can Be Firefighters Too,” which will be released in March 2024.
